We welcome you to experience the many ways Catholic Daughters of the Americas can enhance the spiritual growth in your home, parish and community through Unity and Charity. The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a non-profit organization historically referred to as  an Order.


The National Catholic Daughters of the Americas was founded in 1903 by the Knights of the Columbus.  The Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) was established in  1903 in New York, with 63,000 Catholic women as members in 1,150 courts (Local chapters) in 45 states across the country and in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.


The Texas State Catholic Daughters of the America Court was established in 1917. We invite you to enjoy the rich heritage of our state and local courts by viewing our Texas History. Read about the pioneer women that ‘paved  the way’ to the amazing contributions our local courts make within their community and parish. There are over 16,000 local court members in the 245 courts throughout Texas


Our Lady of the Assumption, Ingleside Texas has a newly established Local Court as of October 28, 2023, Catholic Daughters of the Americas - Local Court 2794 named Queen Mary's Daughters. We currently have 34 members and immediately after installation in October 2023 started supporting the parish in the last two months in 2023 with Parish Breakfast Hospitality, Bereavement Service, BINGO Concessions, and Parish Family Christmas Party.


Why not join us?  Let us be an avenue to share your gifts and talents through love and service to Church, Community and Country. Membership is for Catholic women ages 18 and older who love and support the Church and desire to participate in social and charitable activities.

All our service is focused on spiritual growth; for both those providing a service, as well as the recipients. We center our service around the Circle of Love Program. Under the facets of Quality of Life, Youth, Legislation, Education, Spirituality, Leadership, and Family, the opportunity to serve is endless.
